My name is Steven Xuereb since 2015 I have been studying via OUA towards my Bachelor of Technology at RMIT with a career goal of becoming a database administrator. Thanks to the flexibility of OUA I am able to also simultaneously study my minor at Curtin University. Prior to starting university I have already completed a Certificate II & III in Information Technology as well as a Certificate III in Financial Services.

 

Outside of Study I have spent the last 5 years working at South East Water in Victoria first as a Customer Service Officer however have spent the last 6 months undergoing a secondment as a Credit Management Officer.

 

I have also done shadowing with our Business Technology Services team to learn the various tasks they preform such as helpdesk support , database administration, network administration and rollout of hardware as I hope to join that department on the completion of my studies.
